I really want to run away from home but i have no idea what to do..?

im 16 1/2 years old and my boyfriend is 17. he lives in queens new york and i live in rhode island. i've been dating him for a year and three months now. i can honestly say im deeply in love with him, as he is with me. i can't stand being away from him for a long time (don't say i should break up with him because its long distance cause its not happening). i really want to be with him, and i told him about it. he told me he doesn't want me to run away from home because i could get in trouble and that he's really concerned about my safety. i have relatives in new york but they don't live close to him nor do i think they'd let me stay at their house without telling my parents. i don't want my family to find out because if they did they'd call the police and have them come after me and probably arrest him. how do i go about this?.. i can't stand being home anymore..
