I dropped my olympus camera in sand and now the lens is all blurry?

HELP !!! I don't know how to fix it , when i try to take a picture it looks all blurry. And when it first happened there was a grinding sound. Now my camera wont let me do anything. My camera is an OLYMPUS 4.7-23.5MM 1:28-6.5 Also i cant take it t the repair shop it will be to expensive and i don't have the warranty Did i mess up my camera ? And should i take it back to the store from were i bought it from ?
