AA Rechargeable Ni-MH Batteries (Card of 4) 1.2v 3000 mAh - are these batteries suitable for the Olympus X43?

need batteries that will last a long time for my Olympus x43? would the ones above be suitable. Currently bought a charger and rechargeable batteries, but as they were only 1300 mah, they don't last any time at all??? and can I use my current charger with the 3000mah?
