Do northern women (women of the nordic persuasion) like gravy?

Somebody asked a friend of mine if northern girls like gravy. Not being a northerner, she doesn't know. Also, she wonders if this question is euphamistic. Will somebody please enlighten us. (This question is flippant in nature and is not meant to give offense.)
