Are these sentences grammatically incorrect?

The first sentence is OK. The second has two errors. "As an adult" is a dangling modifier. And "ignorant to" is nonidiomatic ("ignorant of" is the idiom). I would change it to: "It is easy for an adult to use the word in flippant conversations, ignorant of the consequences that it might cause.
