If I finish Zombie Island of Dr. Ned Borderlands DLC do the unfinished quests disappear from my quest log?

I am about to run through the Zombie Island DLC for Borderlands. I am wondering If the unfinished optional quests will be removed from the quest log. If they dont, I don't want to run through it. Any help would be appreciated.
